FRANKFURT-- BMW AG on Tuesday shook up the structure of its
management and supervisory boards, appointing a new chief executive
and management board member, while the company's current chief
executive is moving to lead the supervisory board.
Harald Krueger, currently head of the car maker's production
division, will step in as the new chief executive, starting in May
after the company's annual general meeting.
The current chief executive, Norbert Reithofer, will become
chairman of the supervisory board, succeeding Joachim Milberg, BMW
said.
Klaus Fröhlich will also immediately join the management board,
in charge of the company's development.
