Life Sciences Institute Inc. (TSX VENTURE:LSN) (the "Corporation") is pleased to
announce that it has received TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") approval to extend
the timeframe for its previously announced Short Form Offering Document
financing, flow-through financing and change of business (collectively the
"Transactions").


The Corporation must close the Transactions no later than July 15, 2011 and
submit final documentation to the TSXV no later than July 20, 2011.


As previously announced, the financings must raise aggregate gross proceeds of
at least $2,850,000 and there is no assurance that such final documentation will
be submitted and TSXV approval granted.
