VENTURE:PXX)(FIRST NORTH:PXXS) announced today the resignation of Arlene
Weatherdon as chief financial officer effective August 31, 2007. Ms. Weatherdon
has resigned from the Company in order to pursue other business opportunities.
Pearl would like to thank Ms. Weatherdon for her many contributions to the
growth and success of the Company.


The Company is in the process of completing its executive search and expects to
announce the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer very soon.
