Royal Ahold Delhaize NV said Wednesday that it has bought a
minority shareholding in advertising technology company Adhese, as
part of its plan to develop digital advertising opportunities.
The Dutch grocer didn't disclose the size of the shareholding or
say how much it had paid.
"The partnership with Adhese allows us to develop and accelerate
digital advertising solutions for B2B partners that can scale with
our brands and generate insights to help us strengthen our
omnichannel offering," Chief Executive Wouter Kolk said.
