06 September 2014 - 3:31AM
Business Wire
El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. (OTCBB: ECPN) announced today
that it has secured bridge financing to support the Company’s
short-term cash requirements. According to Board Chairman John F.
Stapleton, the Company will use the bridge financing until the sale
of tailings generates income.
Stapleton added that the contract with a Hong Kong-based trading
company for sale of the precious-metals-rich tailings is in the
final stages of completion, awaiting only the buyer’s final
verification of ore contents and values. As reported last month,
the contract for the sale of tailings from the El Capitan mine will
be an on-going, multi-year agreement.
Chuck Mottley, El Capitan President and CEO, and the ECPN Board
anticipate an executed contract by the Shareholder Meeting later
this month.
