Swedish broadcaster MTG AB (MTG-B.SK) said Wednesday it has
agreed to sell its 80% stake in Swedish communications operator
Zitius Service Delivery AB to telecom operator TeliaSonera AB
(TLSN.SK) at an enterprise value of SEK380 million.
MAIN FACTS:
-The transaction is subject to regulatory approval from the
Swedish competition authority, MTG said.
-In total, the purchase price amounts to SEK473 million on a
cash and debt-free basis, TeliaSonera said.
-The acquisition complements TeliaSonera's initiative to expand
its mobile and fixed infrastructure throughout Sweden, it said.
-TeliaSonera's acquisition also comprises Quadracom Networks and
the service provider Riksnet, it said.
-Presently, the target companies are owned by MTG Broadcasting
AB and Quadracom AB, and have net sales totalling around SEK330
million pro forma in 2012, it said.
-At 0801 GMT, shares in MTG were down 0.7% at SEK307.10 and
TeliaSonera shares were up 0.5% at SEK51.05, against a 0.5% rise in
the wider Stockholm market.
