AfriOre Limited announces that Board approval has been given for the issue of
47,000 common shares pursuant to the exercise of share options. The new common
shares of nil par value will rank pari passu with the existing common shares.



Accordingly, application has been made for 47,000 new common shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM which is expected on 28 November 2006.



Following this, the number of common shares in issue in the Company is
51,328,827.
