                  Offer (the "Offer") for Eidos PLC ("Eidos")

On 1 April 2005, SCi announced that it had received an irrevocable undertaking
to accept the Offer from Plane Investment Limited in respect of 5,000,000 Eidos
shares. SCi now announces that it today received a further irrevocable
undertaking to accept the Offer from Plane Investment Limited in respect of a
further 8,250,000 Eidos shares. The irrevocable undertakings from Plane
Investment Limited will continue to be binding even if a higher offer is made
for Eidos and will cease to be binding only if the Offer lapses or is withdrawn.

Accordingly, in aggregate SCi has now received irrevocable undertakings to
accept the Offer in respect of 66,279,421 Eidos shares, representing
approximately 46.67 per cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos, of which
undertakings in respect of 63,952,621 Eidos shares, representing approximately
45.04 per cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos, will continue to be
binding even if a higher offer is made for Eidos.
