NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS

The Company has been notified that on 28 June 2006 Dr Geoffrey Guy, a Director
of the Company, gifted for nil consideration 175,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p
each in the Company to family members for tax planning purposes. The gift
amounts to 0.15% of the issued ordinary share capital.


Out of the 175,000 shares gifted to family members Dr Guy retains a beneficial
interest in 100,000 of these shares.


Following this notification Dr Guy retains a beneficial interest in 22,198,708
ordinary shares of 0.1p each, amounting to 18.5% of the shares in issue.
