Marlborough Fund Managers Limited managed funds which included 7,000,000
ordinary shares of London Asia Capital plc, which represents 5.44% of the issued
share capital of London Asia Capital plc. This disclosure is made pursuant to
the EU Transparency Obligations Directive coming into force which now requires
this percentage of shareholding to be notified to the Company.
