Quester VCT 5 Plc                               

Realisation Update

The Board of Quester VCT 5 Plc (VCT 5) announces the successful sale of
Footfall Limited, a leading provider of customer counting technology and
statistics, to Experian. The sale generated cash proceeds of �1.2 million for
VCT 5 and a gain of �0.8 million over carrying value at 1 January 2005, the
start of VCT 5's financial year.
