    ("River Diamonds" or "the Company")

    Result of Annual General Meeting


    River Diamonds announces that all the resolutions proposed at the Company's general meeting held today were duly passed.

    One of the special resolutions proposed at today's meeting was to change the name of the Company to Vatukoula Gold Mines plc and
accordingly the Company's shares will trade with this new name and the EPIC "VGM" from Tuesday 19 August 2008.
