Utilitywise and CEF launch energy saving partnership
Utilitywise plc, (AIM:UTW), a leading independent utility cost
management consultancy which was admitted to AIM on 12 June 2012,
is pleased to announce it has teamed up with one of the UK's
leading national electrical wholesalers, City Electrical Factors
("CEF"), to launch an energy saving partnership.
This initiative, promoted under the E-value8 brand
(www.e-value8.com) will promote Utilitywise's energy saving
products and services through CEF's 400 branches nationwide.
The partnership will harness Utilitywise's industry leading
energy saving expertise and products with CEF's experience serving
the electrical wholesale market for over 60 years.
The Evalue8 service will enable CEF's business customers to
receive a free-of-charge energy bill audit from the dedicated
E-value8 team based at Utilitywise's Head Office in South Shields,
Tyne & Wear.
This will enable the E-value8 team to search the market for the
most competitive energy prices. In addition, each client will be
able to take advantage of a broad range of energy-saving and
energy-management products and services.
E-value8 business customers will be able to monitor their energy
use, access Energy Audits and an Energy Health Check which allows
businesses to benchmark their energy use against their
competitors.
Most of the measures are aimed at identifying wasted energy
usage. The onsite energy audit shows ways to reduce energy
consumption by on average over 20%. Also by using Utilitywise's
Edd:e product, the unique circuit level energy monitoring device,
even more wasted energy can be uncovered and controlled.
Once energy saving projects have been identified, the
partnership can help with the funding and installation of a range
of energy-saving technologies including CEF's own Tamlite range of
innovative commercial lighting products.
In addition, dedicated Account Managers can help identify areas
where each organisation can consume less energy and therefore save
money, now and in the future.
Commenting on the partnership, Geoff Thompson, Chief Executive
of Utilitywise said: "The E-value8 partnership will allow us to
reach a much broader customer base through CEF's branch network and
existing client base and help more clients reduce their energy
costs.
"Developing partnerships with respected businesses such as CEF,
is a part of Utilitywise's growth plans as the Company continues to
expand its offering."
Alan Jackson, Director and General Manager of City Electrical
Factors, said: "As one of the leading national electrical wholesale
organisations in the UK, City Electrical Factors were particularly
keen to secure this exclusive partnership with Utilitywise plc. The
E-value8 scheme ensures we are the only electrical wholesaler with
the ability to combine our own energy saving products with the
unique ability of Utilitywise to negotiate energy savings. In
addition, our combined ability to monitor the savings generated by
these products means that our clients can benefit now and in the
future. This is a proven system which delivers quantifiable
savings, property refurbishments and energy efficiency improvements
which, in many cases, can be funded via the savings generated.
"The E-value8 partnership allows us to provide market-leading
expertise alongside a unique set of energy saving products not
available anywhere else in the marketplace"
