John Standen appointed Chairman


Xploite plc (AIM: XPT, "Xploite" or "the Group"), is pleased to announce that
John Standen will be appointed as non-executive Director and Chairman
immediately following the Group's AGM, which takes place today (see separate AGM
statement).


John Standen succeeds Alan Watkins who steps down at the AGM as non-executive
Chairman.  Alan Watkins will remain on the Board as non-executive Director until
a further new independent non-executive Director is appointed.


John Francis Standen, aged 58, is currently non-executive Chairman of Z Group
plc; Chairman elect of Stanelco plc, and a Non-Executive Director of Lavendon
Group plc and Financial Objects plc. He is also Chairman of Council at the
University of Hull.


John was previously non-executive Chairman Reg Vardy plc until its sale in 2006.
He spent his career in corporate finance and was Chief Executive of BZW
Corporate Finance before retiring from Barclays Bank PLC in 1998.


John will be a member of both the Audit and Remuneration Committees.


Commenting on the appointment, Ian Smith, Chief Executive of Xploite plc, said:
