to announce that, in addition to the re-election of the directors - Thomas G.
Larsen, Francis Sauve, Jean Lafleur, Paul Ankcorn and Alexander Horvath - Donald
A. Sheldon, B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., LL.B., P.Eng., was nominated as a director by a
shareholder present at the annual shareholders meeting held recently, and
subsequently duly elected to serve as a director of the Company. The Company is
pleased to welcome Mr. Sheldon, to its board of directors.


Mr. Sheldon is a securities lawyer with the lawfirm of Sheldon Huxtable
Professional Corporation in Toronto, Ontario. He has been called to the bar in
Ontario and Alberta. Mr. Sheldon has been practising corporate and commercial
law for over 30 years with an emphasis on corporate finance and securities
regulation, particularly in the mining and mineral exploration fields. He has
appeared as counsel before numerous securities regulatory authorities including
the Ontario Securities Commission, British Columbia Securities Commission,
Alberta Securities Commission and appeal panels of stock exchanges. He is and
has been over the past 20 years a director and/or officer of numerous public
corporations listed on stock exchanges in Canada.
