Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure
On July 3, 2017, Cobalt International Energy, Inc. (the
Company
) received a notice from the New York Stock
Exchange (
NYSE
) confirming that the Company has regained compliance with the NYSEs minimum share price listing requirement. Section 802.01C of the NYSE Listed Company Manual requires the average closing price
of the Companys common stock to be at least $1.00 per share over any 30 consecutive trading day period. The Company regained compliance after its average share price for the 30 consecutive trading days was above $1.00.
