OKX Announces Listing of EigenLayer's EIGEN Token on its Spot Market On October 1 at 5:00 AM (UTC), OKX listed EigenLayer's EIGEN token on its spot market, enabling eligible customers to trade EIGEN against USDT via the EIGEN/USDT spot pair.

EigenLayer is a protocol on the Ethereum network that introduces the concept of "restaking." This allows Ethereum stakers to use their assets, such as ETH or Liquid Staking Tokens (LST), to secure multiple applications and earn additional rewards. By enabling the same staked ETH to provide security for several services, EigenLayer boosts the network's overall efficiency. This approach reduces the capital required for participation and strengthens the trust and security guarantees for individual services.
