If the market cap hits under $1 billion then this will collapse if you know what happens. Then it is RS time. Better hope that does not happen. but at this point I do not think management even cares. It will give them a redo and just buy more time to survive, which is what they want. By now they either know this has a chance to survive or not. They will make that paycheck last as long as they can. Funny, why no news on the Olin plant being up and running yet? Why no news on whether they got their first DOE money yet?

I have an order to buy at $1.33 for a few shares. I'll flip them if it goes back up a dime, next week.

Agree. But now the opposite is the case. h2 names have been decimated due to neg cash flow and the assumption Trump will kill the sector. Both of these appear priced in at this point.

To go down from here these trends really need to continue...but they're not. Both plug and fcel are reducing their cash burn to the point they will no longer need to issue shares - this without 45v. Also, it is highly likely 45v remains in place while at least 3 hubs move forward (2 are in plug's sphere), which means ebitda likely turns positive (or close) sometime in 2025.

Both co's have plenty of cash for 1-3 years and trade below book.

I've seen lots of turnarounds over the years and these both fit the bill.

Politico today (March 26) released a report which said sources had told the publication that a list circulating within the DOE suggests blue-state projects could have funding their Biden-era Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding cut.

However, it suggests funding for the three hubs in Republican states would be maintained.

Politico reports that it obtained a spreadsheet of the projects “prepared by DOE” which labelled each hub as “cut” or “keep.”

The publication says it was told that out of the seven hubs, only the four planned for primarily Democratic-leaning states are recommended to have funding cut.

That would include Oregon, Washington and Montana’s Pacific North West (PNWH2); California’s Arches hub; Illinois, Indiana and Michigan’s MachH2; and Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey’s MACH2.

Reportedly on the keep side are Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota’s Heartland Hub; Appalachia’s hub across West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania; and Texas’ Hyvelocity.

Beyond the political leaning of each state, key differences emerge in the hydrogen production plans across the hubs – with those on the keep list looking to natural gas-based operations.

BUSSES : Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology works very well in Busses, but these busses cannot compete economically.

Municipal Transit Authorities might not care about the economics and ROI's (Your tax dollars at work) , but the private/commercial sector does.

The recent hydrogen bus trial failures did not need to undertake a full use/life of the vehicle studies to determiine they needed to pull the plug. The comparative numbers were that bad.

Daimler Truck Ramps Up Testing of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck

The trucks covered a total of 1,600 kilometers during a 14-day period, crossing 4,000 miles (6,500 kilometers) of mountain roads with an accumulated climb of 51.6 miles (83,000 meters), including 12.4 mile-(20 km)-long uphill and downhill stretches with gradients of 10% to 12%.

“With a maximum elevation of more than 2,000 meters [1.2 miles] above sea level and a climb from 600 meters [1,970 feet], the route over the Simplon Pass provided good conditions for testing the interplay of the fuel cell system with other enhanced components,” said Rainer Müller-Finkeldei, head of Mercedes-Benz Trucks product engineering.

Small-scale production of the GenH2, which is based on a conventional Mercedes-Benz Actros cabover longhaul truck, is scheduled to start toward the end of 2026.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks will produce 100 trucks during the initial small-scale production run. Those trucks will undergo testing before serial production of the model begins toward the end of the decade, a Daimler Truck spokesman confirmed March 24.

The GenH2 trucks are powered by liquid hydrogen rather than gaseous hydrogen — the choice of technology for rival fuel cell truck developers such as South Korean automaker Hyundai or bankrupt Phoenix-based startup Nikola — as Daimler Truck seeks to establish a common refueling standard for hydrogen-powered trucks.

The first refueling station for Daimler Truck and joint venture partner Linde Engineering’s sLH2 subcooled liquid hydrogen opened in February 2024 near the truck maker’s long-standing Wörth am Rhein manufacturing plant.

Daimler Truck — parent company of U.S. Class 8 truck brands Freightliner and Western Star — and Linde argue that liquid hydrogen offers a higher storage density, greater range and faster refueling.

Initial testing of sLH2 and the GenH2 began in 2024. Among the fleet owners carrying out the testing are Amazon, Air Products, Ineos, Holcim and Wiedmann & Winz.

just watching, news on the loan and hence starting Texas will be next up but don't expect share price increase until we get significant progress in Texas and confirmation that the $200m currently owed form the money spent there has been received.

Hydrogen buses I think are getting wider adoption but not at the speed expected 2 yers ago. Some early pilots have stopped but for varied and uncertain reasons. Wrightbus in Europe has many successful and growing customers. Repeat business is a sign of successful pilots.
The bus model has the benefit of all being based in one depot so hydrogen just has to be delivered, stored and dispensed there.
compared to battery electric vehicles the Fuel cell will be longer range probably higher power and quicker to refuel, more dependable due to weather (battery charge loss in cold weather)
PLUG have been quiet about he BAESystems. FCBus solution using the Progen Fuel cell which unlike the Bosche FC used by Nikola is more general purpose and able o be configured away from the electric engine itself. I would expect that helps in longevity but lower power. SK were doing something inKorea (or was that with BAE Systems?) as well.

Took off the shelf parts. They did not spec any new parts to be made. Not sure about about body parts for the trucks.Most, if not all, vehicle manufacturers design parts that go into their vehicles. That is the difference.

I'm not disagreeing about the government (local, state or federal) getting involved. I just don't think they need to, unless the vehicle market explodes. I, also, don't think it will take trillions. Maybe it will take hundreds of billions over more than a decade and spread over a lot of companies.

I doubt the fuel cell car market will be larger than the battery EV (one reason why trillions don't need to be spent).

I meant a bus manufacturing company that has been around for more than ten years. When buying a new type of vehicle, you want to make sure the manufacturer has a good chance of still being around when testing it.

Honda came out with a fuel cell CR-V last year, after being out of the fuel cell market since 2019.

I said propane was sold at gas stations. Gas stations had a giant propane tank. They would fill small tanks. Propane trucks would come and fill the giant tank at the gas station.

Gas stations can have a big hydrogen tank. They can fill fuel cell car's hydrogen tank. Hydrogen can be trucked in to refill the giant tank.

nkla has been around for 9 years...they raised almost a billion dollars...when accounting for reverse splits, their share price has been as high as $2800 per share...they were simply trying to make hydrogen big rigs that were not economically viable...the same will be true for buses...HAS been true for buses...

Some of our utility clients certainly don't think so.  They are holding before spending anything on green, until there is clarity , and most don't think it will happen.

PLUGs own data for Fuel cell degradation in material handling will play into calculations.
The BAE systems work in US and Korea has established some proven capability as bus companies evaluate their options for the next 20-30 years
