AMBIENT SUBSIDIARY MONEYBOX LAUNCHES FIRST FINANCIAL SERVICES PRODUCT


Tuesday, 1st July 2003 - Ambient has announced today that its ATM subsidiary
Moneybox is currently developing a range of simple and good value financial
services products in association with leading financial institutions, using its
brand and ATM platform to sell to its users who perform more than 2.5 million
transactions per month. These products will be manufactured by the financial
institutions for distribution by Moneybox and require minimal capital investment
by Moneybox.


The first product, launched today, is a Moneybox financing facility

available to site-owners purchasing an ATM through Moneybox Direct, a new low
cost service being offered to the self-fill market. This will be followed by the
addition of Travel Insurance and Foreign Exchange services later in the summer,
with other products, including a Moneybox Personal Loan and general insurance,
being considered for launch later in the year.
