Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

Ener1, Inc. ("Ener1") issued a press release on December 16, 2008 which announced that it had secured a commitment for a $30 million line of credit from its principal investor, Ener1 Group, Inc. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
