STOCKHOLM--Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz (HM-B.SK) Monday reported 14% higher sales in October than in the same month last year.

The total number of stores amounted to 3,437 on 31 October 2014 versus 3,081 on the same day last year.

Percentage sales development for the month of November and sales for the fourth quarter will be published on December 15.
