Intesa Sanpaolo Takes 2.5% Stake In Piaggio

Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (ISP.MI) has taken a 2.5% stake
in Italian scooter maker Piaggio SpA (PIA.MI), according to market
regulator Consob's Web site Monday.
Piaggio Chairman Roberto Colaninno recently led a group of
investors that bought ailing airline Alitalia SpA (AZA.MI) from the
Italian state. Intesa Sanpaolo advised the group, as well as
financed the bid.
