Directors' Shareholdings



The Company has today been informed of the following transfers of Ordinary 20
pence shares in the Company ("Shares") by Directors of the Company:

K D Rubens, a Director of the Company, has today transferred 128,000 Shares
(representing 0.34% of the Company's issued share capital) for nil consideration
to K D Rubens, A G Rubens, S A Rubens as Trustees of Acacia Charitable Trust.
His interest remains unchanged following this transfer, being 1,129,086 Shares
(3.02%).

Mrs L Ross, spouse of N K Ross (a Director of the Company), has today
transferred 23,986 Shares (0.06%) for nil consideration to N K Ross. Mr Ross's
interest remains unchanged following this transfer, being 1,399,220 Shares
(3.74%).

Mrs E R A Jaye, spouse of A I Jaye (a Director of the Company), has today
transferred 39,202 Shares (0.10%) for nil consideration to A I Jaye.

Mrs E R A Jaye, A I Jaye and M A Taylor have today transferred:

   *A total of 12,062 Shares (0.03%) for nil consideration to two
    non-dependent children of Mr and Mrs Jaye; and

   *9,385 Shares (0.03%) for nil consideration to Mrs E R A Jaye and A I Jaye
    as Trustees for N M Jaye. N M Jaye is a dependent child of Mr and Mrs Jaye.

Following these transfers, Mr Jaye's interest has been reduced by 12,062 Shares
(0.03%) to 1,353,423 Shares (3.62%).
