U.S. Dollar Rises Against Most Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against most major currencies in
the European session on Tuesday.
The U.S. dollar rose to nearly a 2-month high of 1.1168 against
the euro and nearly a 2-1/2-month high of 0.9931 against the Swiss
franc, from early lows of 1.1227 and 0.9889, respectively.
Against the Australian and the Canadian dollars, the greenback
advanced to nearly a 3-month high of 0.7153 and more than a
1-1/2-month high of 1.3188 from early highs of 0.7228 and 1.3136,
respectively.
The greenback edged up to 109.6 against the yen, from an early
high of 109.17.
If the greenback extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.10 against the euro, 1.01 against the franc,
0.69 against the aussie, 1.34 against the loonie and 114.00 against
the yen.
