South African Rand Rises To 3-day High Against US Dollar

Extending yesterday's uptrend, the South African rand edged
higher against the US dollar during early trading on Friday. The
rand rose to a 3-day high of 7.4538 against the greenback before
leveling off around 6:15 am ET. This was up 2.3 percent from
Wednesday's 12-day low of 7.6302 and 1.2 percent from yesterday's
close of 7.543. On the upside, the domestic currency may find
target around the 7.40 level.
