TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Amtech Systems,
Inc. (NASDAQ: ASYS), a global supplier of production and automation
systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells,
semiconductors, and sapphire and silicon wafers, today announced
that since October 1, 2014, it has
received approximately $28 million in
orders, including $21 million in
orders for its solar products. The $21
million in solar orders includes a significant order from a
leading Chinese manufacturer and the previously announced order
from Mission Solar Energy. The orders are expected to ship
within the next three to nine months.
