All this attention to Blooms report effecting FCEL's direction is non-sense. Bloom ran up over 100% from its 52 week low, while FCEL fell and is not even close to matching a gain of that size from its low.
Furthermore, what if FCEL's earnings are released before Blooms? What then does FCEL do? I'll tell you: it trades according to its report and where the stock is at the time of the release. Even an extreme Oversold price could rally on a bad report. Similarly a good report could result in drop in px if the stock is Overbought at that time.
In the finl analysis, FCEL and Bloom are not connected at the hip except to say they're in the same group.
Too much emphasis is being paid to Blooms report as a directive for FCEL's stock movement.

On the other hand if Bloom reports a good qtr then the stock has a chance to bounce. IMO

FCE obviously does not have new contracts to report and the stock will continue to decline to about a 50-70 million market cap. The PPS being around $4.00 . It should bounce around $3-4 PPS. If it breaks ATL t

This could be the nail in the coffin if Bloom reports a bad qtr. if that happens most likely FCE goes into the $5’s and by next week the stock should be around $4 . IMO

The reaction to the stock when its reported will depend on the loss they report. Analysts expect another loss, the size and comparison yr to yr and prior quarter to quarter will determine how the stock reacts. It also will depend on where the stock price is at the time its released as to how the stock reacts.
No doubt FEW will have positive forward looking statements. They have been Un persuading and will continue not be effective.
Don't lose track of the losses mounting and the expenses incurred.
If there's a bounce, sell into it.

Everybody has earnings within the next two and a half weeks. Bloom kicks it off tomorrow. Plug is on the 3rd and Ballard is on the 13th. Fuel cell should be announcing a date by end of week if not then earnings will be the second full week in March. I've heard March 6th but I've not seen an announcement from the company and we all know that means there's nothing official. Let's hope Bloom at least doesn't disappoint. Individual stocks have been largely reactive to guidance over earnings. I'm hoping for at least neutral on both earnings and guidance.

Yes It hit in the $5,s last Nov. Then it held and was followed by a huge spike up on huge volume.
The low and the volume spike up is significant as it indicates it would act as support if the stock approaches that level again.
Of course there are no guarantees that it will hold but there has to be a basis for determining support and resistance levels.
I'll stick with my belief until there's reason to think otherwise.

the pps hit $5.44 back in November....it has been so long since the pps has been that low previously that i dont really consider it support...if the pps had bounced off that number or thereabouts aferwards, then i would consider it support...i like support levels to have been tested or confirmed....without that, i think its just as likely that it will drop right through that...

i go by the chart. Support is at or close to $5.00.
It's possible it'll hit the $4's but its premature . If that's not supported with charts, its a guess. I try to take the guesswork out of my thinking.

After stating that they are flush in cash ( says HOGWASH) and after a flood of posts with links implying contracts are growing and interest is expanding, why in a logical world would they now sell shares into the market at these prices.???
If the earnings report is so good and the forward looking statement gives investors confidence, then issue them after that and as the stock responds.

I do believe that 500,000,000 dilutive shares would be issued in piecemeal at appropriate times when the sh/px rises.
perhaps they believe they won't have a good quarterly report and they better issue when they can before they drop the bomb.
In any case, LONGS get the shaft again.
DILUTION is on the way no matter.

Hoghead7 Hoghead7 1 day ago
They may very well be selling shares unless they already know They have a very promising Q1 report or there's something else substantial coming out within the next couple weeks. Lessons learned, Although they may not need to sell shares right now and it would be a shame at this price, they're better off doing it now than waiting to see if it bounces from $6 or $5.44. I'm guessing based on the filing the other day, there are currently between 22 and 23 million shares outstanding. I could be wrong, But my confident gas is that they want to maintain over 300 million in cash and equivalents

So fcel goes up because of how great they are and goes down because some other stock goes down?…

Do you realize how dumb that sounds?…

Bloom down 7.6% currently and huge in the past week with 1/2 average daily volume 1 hour in. Earnings Thursday and Obviously there's skepticism. In my opinion that's the primary driver for being down yesterday and today. Bloom is by far the outperformer this year and last. Notice the markets reception to FEW's message.
The market yawns and sells again; now below $7.00 .
But the pope of pumpers continues to post ineffective information as if its taken seriously.
When will he recognize the basic principles of investing ?
Would he still get his $2.95 per pump if he came clean.

Thanks Max. I reposted on stock twits. This is the second or third significant piece validating that incentives from either 45v or 45Q or both Well ultimately reach their destination. Too many red states have skin in the game, As do plenty of the financial supporters and or big companies such as ExxonMobil. The pause on monies is a speed bump and unfortunate. Reading Few's message to shareholders in the intro to the 10k is refreshing. He notes obvious disappointment regarding return or lack of for shareholders and investors. Focus is on driving for profitability (in other words) And we have several platforms to help do so. Carbon capture unit in Connecticut should be available this year for visitors and the unit at INL should prove stated efficiencies this year also. That will set us up nicely for 26 if not sooner. Surprisingly just now thinking about it, I don't believe he even mentioned the pilot at Porthos. But the last documentation from Exxon and fuel cell energy clearly stated it was on time or ahead of schedule. I posted something the other day from Exxon Mobil whom has mentioned FCE end of the technology in several different documents over the past couple months. The pilot Will be up and running in 2026 and my belief is in the first half. I just found out in that PR That's a 5-year pilot. Let's just make it light I expect a plan for a follow-up likely in 2027. Hopefully the first half of 25 results in a turnaround for the industry as far as market sentiment & momentum. The current US administration take on "green energy" has unfortunately lumped us into an unfavorable category. Few clearly conveys we are a unique company working well in cooperation with many other technologies. He also asserts confidence FCE Will do well regardless what political decisions are made domestically and internationally as a result. That article particularly clarifies hydrogen and carbon capture are not going to just go away. People just have to cautiously navigate the black ice. I'm just hoping my business picks up soon as I am always slower during the winter. I'm definitely not passing up on any opportunity to get more invested at under $200M market cap. I can't imagine we don't have over a $1B market cap this year.

Reading the message from Few in the beginning, Very exciting! Not Happy with returns, or lack of to investors. Focussed on accelerating path to profitability. Unit at INL should prove efficiencies proven in the lab which will make hydrogen 30% less expensive. FCE can be used with all tech, including fossil fuels, nuclear, wind, solar, and despite political uncertainties, They will do well domestically and globally, regardless of decisions made in the coming weeks months years. 2025 is going to be a good year!!

they are laying people off because they are not profitable in the business they do run with so few US/European contracts. They article was specific to hydrogen fuel cell businesses

Bloom has no real interest currently in hydrogen production - they can do it but focus is very much on their Nat Gas energy business (which can use hydrogen). Not aware of any deals yet to use their technology as an electrolyser to produce H2. (at least in the USA for 45 V credits)

Great piece! No specific start date, but pilot will run for 5 years. My guess, up and running by Spring 26, sufficient test results by some time in 2027 to plan next install. The phrases game changing and Novel technology, have been used repeatedly by Exxonmobil, but now they are openly talking about Fuelcell Energy!

They desperately want to become Fed Gov welfare recipients…they gonna apply for food stamps next…

Hydrogen is way too expensive to make, store, transport and use…so of course they need taxpayers to pay the costs of getting it to market so they can then gouge those same taxpayers with high prices when they sell it….

Makes perfect sense…
