A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Global Mining
Index
TORONTO, July 14, 2015 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones
Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the
S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of RTI International Metals Inc. (NYSE:RTI) are
expected to accept the terms of a merger transaction with Alcoa
Inc. (NYSE:AA). RTI International Metals shareholders will receive
2.8315 shares of Alcoa for each share held. RTI International
Metals will be removed from the S&P/TSX Global Mining, Global
Base Metals and Equal Weight Global Base Metals Indices after the
close of trading on Wednesday, July 22,
2015. The relative weight of Alcoa will increase in the same
indices to reflect the issuance of shares as part of the
transaction.
