Duoyuan Global Water Inc. (NYSE: DGW) ("Duoyuan" or the "Company"),
a leading China-based domestic
water treatment equipment supplier, today filed a Form 6-K
confirming that it will retain the China member firm of Grant Thornton
International ("GT China") as its independent registered public
accounting firm. The Form 6-K reports the resignation of JBPB
& Co. (formerly Grant Thornton
("GT Hong Kong")) as a result of its merger with BDO Limited.
GT Hong Kong had been engaged by the Company for its financial
statements for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2008 and
December 31, 2009. During these
fiscal years and the subsequent interim periods, GT Hong Kong's
reports did not contain an adverse opinion or disclaimer of
opinion, were not modified or qualified and contained no
disagreements on any matter of accounting principles or practices,
financial statement disclosure or auditing scope or procedure.
In accordance with the recommendation of the Audit Committee of
the Board of Directors and as ratified and approved by the Board of
Directors, the Company has engaged GT China as its independent
registered public accounting firm moving forward as of December 24, 2010.
