Unilever to Sell Spreads Business to KKR for $7.4 Billion

Unilever PLC said Friday that it would sell its global spreads
business to KKR & Co. L.P. for $7.4 billion.
The spreads business of the Anglodutch company -- including such
brands as Flora, Country Crock, Blue Band, I Can't Believe It's Not
Butter, Rama and ProActiv.
Nicolas Liabeuf, the chief executive of the spreads division,
will continue to lead the business, the company said.
