WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a five-year, $26 million contract to provide managed information technology solutions to the Air National Guard Network and Regional Operations and Security Centers. The one-year, base-period contract - with four one-year options - includes Tier III support for all facets of the enterprise IT system such as applications, infrastructure, vulnerability assessment, directory services, boundary protection and messaging. The Air National Guard will transform from a decentralized network management model to a centrally managed environment. Harris IT Services - along with its teammates TechTeam Government Solutions, Inc. and NetApp, Inc. - will assist the Air National Guard in this transition and consolidation by integrating services at 11 locations across the United States.
