American Stock Exchange Launches Nine New ETFs From Rydex

NEW YORK, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The American Stock
Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that it has launched trading
in nine new exchange traded funds (ETFs) from Rydex Investments
(Rydex). The new ETFs seek to provide investors with full sector
exposure while reducing single stock risk. "We are very excited to
welcome Rydex back to the Amex for its nine new ETF listings," said

include: Rydex S&P Equal Weight Consumer Discretionary ETF
(AMEX:RCD) RCD's investment objective is to replicate as closely as
possible, before expenses, the performance of the S&P Equal
Weight Consumer Discretionary Index which consists of the common
stocks of the following industries: automobiles and components,
consumer durables, apparel, hotels, restaurants, leisure, media and
retailing. Rydex S&P Equal Weight Consumer Staples ETF
(AMEX:RHS) RHS's investment objective is to replicate as closely as
possible, before expenses, the performance of the S&P Equal
Weight Consumer Staples Index which consists of the common stocks
of the following industries: food and drug retailing, beverages,
food products, tobacco, household products and personal products.
Rydex S&P Equal Weight Energy ETF (AMEX:RYE) RYE's investment
objective is to replicate as closely as possible, before expenses,
the performance of the S&P Equal Weight Energy Index which
consists of the common stocks of the following industries: oil and
gas exploration, production, marketing, refining and/or
transportation and energy equipment and services industries. Rydex
