Acacia Holds Talks With Chinese Companies for Tanzania Gold Deal -Reuters

--Acacia Mining is involved in separate discussions with China's
Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd. and Shandong Gold-Mining Co. Ltd. about
forming a joint venture for the U.K. company's gold mines in
Tanzania, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources.
--Barrick Gold Corp., Acacia's majority shareholder, is also
involved in the talks regarding the mines in Tanzania, where
London-listed Acacia has been caught up in a tax dispute with the
government, according to Reuters.
--Acacia has also discussed a joint- venture partnership with
state-owned China National Gold Group, but those talks may not be
ongoing, Reuters said.
