Dorex Intersects 18.9% Iron and 0.7% Copper Over 6.8 Metres on Its Carmelita IOCG Project, Chile

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -
The company is pleased to report that it has received the
analytical results from the first two of seven widely spaced
diamond drill core holes from its 100% owned Carmelita property.
The property is located within the Chilean "Iron Belt" at the south
end of the Atacama Desert, Chile. This belt is host to significant
copper and iron mines over a 350 kilometers length. The Candelaria
and Manto Verde copper mines with iron bi-products are located in
the northern end of the belt. Farther to the south nearer Carmelita
there are significant iron producers like El Tofo, El Pelito and El
Romeral. These are all classified as Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG)
deposits.
Peter Walton President & CEO states, "The geology and
analytical results are encouraging for a classic IOCG style
mineralization. It is especially encouraging that the
mineralization style has been intersected by all the holes within
an 11 square kilometer area tested during this drilling. The
remaining results will be announced when available."
Highlights from the two DDH holes are as follows.
CA-01: Intersected Propylitic altered volcanics (epidote and
chlorite) from surface to end of hole (131.6 m) with disseminated
magnetite from 10.1 to 129.0 meters. High grade magnetite between
91.8 and 98.6 meters returned weighted average of 18.9% iron, 0.68%
copper and 0.12 g/t gold.
CA-05: The hole was drilled 3.2 km to the northeast and
intersected Propylitic altered volcanics (epidote) from surface to
end of hole (100.7 m) with a weighted average of 4% iron. Higher
grade copper mineralization was intersected from 47 to 50 m with
weighted average of 0.44% copper.
SAMPLE HANDLING AND PREPARATION
A summary of sample preparation and method of analysis is
herewith presented. The core is marked in two meter lengths for
sampling and cut longitudinally in half. One half is placed in
individual heavy-duty plastic sample bags. The sample tag (a unique
five-digit sample number) assigned to the sample and included in
the bag and the bag is sealed. The other half of the core is
returned to the core boxes for storage and a sample tag is stapled
to the core box at the end of each sample.
The Company has designed a QA/QC program with four quarter core
duplicates every 40 samples. For the quarter core, the half core is
sawed longitudinally in half and assigned a separate five-digit
sample number following original sample. Three certified standards
are submitted every 90 with one of each low, medium and high copper
grades. The standards were inserted every 10 samples.
All samples were submitted to ACT Labs S.A. in Coquimbo, Chile
where they were initially crushed, split using a standard Jones
riffle splitter to a nominal 250 grams sample and pulverized. From
this material 30 grams is submitted for standard gold Fire Assays
and copper, silver zinc, cobalt and iron analysis.
