DALLAS, TX , parent company of the 40-year-old "Dixie Lee" brand name, with more than 80 franchised Chicken & Seafood restaurants open, announces the opening of the latest franchised restaurant in Dubai, UAE.

"We had planned a February opening; however we decided to re-formulate our signature spice mix to adjust for Middle Eastern tastes," stated Dave Silvester, Senior Vice President of Dixie Lee International Industries, "so now we're ready to open with the right taste profile."

"In addition to our regular food offerings, we have added several popular regional dishes in order to attract the widest audience possible. This will be Dixie Lee's flagship store in the Middle East and will feature take out, delivery, buffet and full dining. The store has two levels and a great mezzanine view overlooking the city of Dubai. The store layout was designed to accommodate large private parties, business functions, and the like. Of course, our focus is on great food and service. We recognize the importance of building a bond with the community and their food traditions, too. That's why we'll also have a great dessert buffet with an array of fresh fruit choices," Mr. Silvester added.

The Canadian opening team will leave for Dubai on February 25th, and stay for at least two weeks to train the Dubai staff, and work through the Grand Opening, now set for early March 2008.
