PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Environmental Service Professionals, Inc. ("ESP") (Pink Sheets: EVSP), an innovator in environmental inspections, announced today that the National Association for Moisture Management (NAMM) has endorsed the Company's four key quality home inspection programs:

  • Certified Environmental Home Inspector (CEHI) program,
  • the Annual Mold and Moisture Management (MMM) program for homeowners,
  • the Healthy Green Living Certification (HGLC), and
  • the Healthy Home Mortgage Program. (HHMP).

Rick LaPierre, President of NAMM, stated, "We are very pleased to endorse ESP's high quality inspection programs to prevent water intrusion and moisture problems in homes and work places. These programs help protect the insurance, lending, real estate and building industries from liability and ensure consumers against unhealthy living conditions.  The Company's CEHI home inspectors are Certified Moisture Management Professionals, and their regular inspections promote a greater standard of living at a reasonable cost with annual preventive maintenance."

Mr. LaPierre added, "NAMM's 'Partnership for Prevention' with ESP will be one more positive step in preventing, protecting and promoting for all stakeholders in this very important issue."

ESP's professionally designated CEHI Program consists of a suite of environmental services:  allergen screening, energy inspections, neighborhood environment reports, radon testing, moisture management program, mold testing for commercial, residential, new and existing construction in support of the Healthy Green Living Certification ("HGLC") and Healthy Home Mortgage ("HHMP"). ESP offers training, stringent protocols, scheduling and administrative support for the Certified Environmental Home Inspectors (CEHIs), all of whom deliver the company's "Best in Industry" inspection and management services to consumers and businesses.

ESP's Chairman and CEO, Edward L. Torres, stated, "ESP has developed an industry leading set of inspection protocols based on NAMM's industry standards that have proven to deliver improved health of the occupants and enhanced property values."

Moreover, ESP's industry-leading programs will create immediate jobs and job training opportunities preparing thousands of Veterans and Disabled Veterans to participate in the Company's Healthy Home Mortgage Program, ("HHMP") which is dedicated to creating affordable, environmentally safe and energy efficient homes and work environments for hard-working American families.  The programs are designed to create "Green Careers" with a projected life span of 30+ years.

"ESP will create needed local jobs that cannot be outsourced.  We expect to train and hire over 50,000 Veterans as inspectors and over 10,000 Disabled Veterans as Customer Service Representatives to support the inspectors and customers of the programs," Mr. Torres declared.

The ESP programs consolidate protocols for energy, moisture mold and other indoor air quality to allow one inspector to inspect a home or business on several different protocol levels at the same time, reducing the cost for consumers and stakeholders alike.  The Company has been developing these processes and technologies over several years and has earned the cooperation of government agencies, major corporations and insurance companies. The resulting 30+ year comprehensive, annual inspection program provides a fully certified national standard to mitigate risk and maintain equity across their entire portfolio, making ESP the first National Residential and Commercial Inspection Company in the United States.

The annual inspection program assures that health, structural and energy issues are caught early, minimizing repair costs, mitigating risk and maintaining equity for the insurance, mortgage banking, building, real estate, and property management industries.  Inspected homes receive the Healthy Green Living Certification (HGLC) seal, showing they have met comprehensive national health, structural and energy standards.
