LONDON (MarketWatch) -- U.K. stocks fell Tuesday, stepping back
from a run higher in the previous session.
The FTSE 100 index fell 0.2% to 6,620.42. It finished 1% higher
on Monday as geopolitical tensions eased.
Decliners included investment service provider Hargreaves
Lansdown , with shares off 4% and supermarket chain Tesco , lower
by 0.8%.
Off the benchmark, Ladbrokes gained 3.5% after the betting and
gaming services company said it's still well positioned to drive
growth in the second half of the year, despite a fall in net
