WARSAW, POLAND--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2013) - Press Ventures
Inc. (OTCQB: PVEN) ("Press Ventures" or the "Company") and its
wholly-owned Polish subsidiary Biosafety Systems, Inc. Sp z o.o.,
is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mrs. Lili Góralczyk as
its new Vice-President of Asian Business Development.
Mrs. Góralczyk has extensive experience as an expert Asian
business consultant, diplomat, and journalist. "We are very pleased
to have added Lili Góralczyk to our operations team where she will
oversee expansion into the Asian markets where the need and demand
for our all-natural patented Cedar Leaf Oil Diffusion biosafety
technology is the most obvious," stated Mr. Edward Denkiewicz,
Press Ventures CEO. "Lili's previous work in China with high-growth
European companies along with her diplomatic history and journalism
background will all be of strategic importance to the Company going
forward." Mrs. Góralczyk was born in China, the daughter of Dr.
Zdzislaw Góralczyk, a longtime Polish Ambassador to China, Honorary
Citizen of Beijing, and the current President of the Polish
Friendship Society - China.
Most recently, from 2010 to 2013, she was an advisor to
Ostcommerce, an Austrian company with interests in China. From 2007
to 2010, Góralczyk provided China and Asian advisory services to
Bioton, one of the largest genetic insulin producers in Europe.
From 2003 to 2007, Lili was based in the Polish Consulate in Moscow
where she worked within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to
her diplomatic position in Moscow, Mrs. Góralczyk worked with
Shanghai Intercommerce in Shanghai as Commercial Director
(2000-2002), as China market advisor to the board of Novomatic
(1992-2000), and as Chinese language translator in Shanghai with
Chipobrok, a Polish/Chinese shipbuilding company (1988-1992). Mrs.
Góralczyk is also an accomplished journalist in Poland as editor of
"Life of Warsaw" (1983-1988) and as editor of Gazeta Wyborcza
("Agora") -- the biggest daily newspaper in Poland (1988). Mrs.
Góralczyk is fluent in Chinese, Russian, English, and Polish. She
completed high school at the Soviet Embassy in Beijing, studied
Sinology (the study of Chinese language and culture) at the Moscow
Institute of the Far East, and graduated from the University of
Warsaw's Faculty of Sinology in 1992.
