Salon City's Steven Casciola Interviews Pat Parenty, Newly Appointed President of L'Oreal USA's Professional Products Division

Salon City, Inc. (OTCBB: SALN) announced that Steven and Annie
Casciola, Co-Founders of Salon City, Inc. attended the January
18-19 Redken Symposium in Las Vegas where over 8000 Redken beauty
professionals, many paying $500 each, attended Redken's annual
event. While there, Pat Parenty, the new president of L'Oreal USA's
Professional Products Division (which includes Redken and other
leading salon brands like Matrix) was interviewed by Steven
Casciola, who is known for his high-profile interviews of top
business people, artists, celebrities and visionaries.
Casciola asked Parenty about the personal enjoyment he has
gained from being in the professional beauty industry. Parenty
remarked, "You know, I actually feel very fortunate to have gotten
into this industry when I did. It's somewhere 24 years ago, now.
And I think some people fall in love with an industry, and this is
what has happened to me. I enjoy watching the salons prosper. I've
learned so much from the professionals in this industry about
perseverance and about what you have to go through, the hard work
and things you need to do to succeed; and I really think
hairdressers have a special outlook on life, and I've really
learned from them in the creative area. They are very creative, so
serving a creative group of people has helped me develop my own
skill set. It's been very interesting."
