Subsea 7 S.A. (SUBC.OS), the Norwegian seabed-to-surface
engineering contractor Friday said it has signed a $75 million
North Sea contract with Total E&P Norge AS.
MAIN FACTS:
-The agreement is a subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines, or
SURF, contract for the Atla field in the central part of the North
Sea.
-The contract includes management, engineering, procurement and
installation services as well as survey activities, tie-in and
pre-commissioning activities and other associated services.
-Engineering and project management will start immediately, with
offshore operations due to start in the second quarter, 2012.
-At 0801 GMT shares traded 0.5% higher at NOK102.10.
