APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR





ALPHA Airports Group Plc is pleased to announce that Terry Stannard has been
appointed, with effect from today's date, as a non-executive director of the
company.



Terry Stannard, aged 51, brings extensive plc and international business
experience.  He spent 20 years with United Biscuits plc holding senior roles in
marketing, research and development and general management in the UK,
Continental Europe and the Asia Pacific region.



In 1996 he joined Hillsdown Holdings plc as Chief Executive of its Chilled Foods
Division.  He then led the demerger and flotation of this division as Terranova
Foods plc and became Chief Executive.  Following the acquisition of Terranova by
Unigate plc he joined the Unigate Board as Chief Executive, Unigate Convenience
Foods.  Until recently he was Chief Executive of Uniq plc formed from the
restructured Unigate in 2001.
