                Advance Visual Communications PLC (the 'Company')

                   Appointment of new Group Managing Director


As previously announced in our interim results on 13 March 2002 Ali Amiri has
been appointed Group Managing Director with immediate effect.  He will be taking
on all the responsibilities of Massoud Amiri who will relinquish his duties as
CEO but will remain on the Board as a non-executive Director.



Barclay Douglas, Chairman of Advance Visual Communications PLC, commented : 'We
are pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Amiri as our new Group Managing
Director.  The Board believes he has the necessary skills and experience to
drive the Company forward.  On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Massoud
Amiri for his efforts and commitment during the two and half years he served as
