Access Plus announces that on 2 May 2002, pursuant to the authority granted by
shareholders at the annual general meeting of the Company held on 23 April 2002,
it purchased for cancellation 15,000 of its own ordinary shares of 10p each at a
price of 245p per share.

Following the above purchase there are now 18,796,128 ordinary shares in issue.
