The Company was informed today that Arc Fund Management Holdings plc ("Arc"), on
08 November 2006,  sold 500,000  Ashton Penney ordinary shares at a price of
4.00p per share.  Arc now holds 612,144 Ashton Penney ordinary shares,
representing 1.82% of the Company's issued share capital.

Mr Renwick Haddow, previously a Director of the Company, holds 47.2% of the 
issued share capital of Arc.
