                            Appointment of Director


The Board of Bulgarian Property Developments plc ("BPD") is please to announce
that Nikolay Kostadinov Galchev has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director.


Nikolay Galchev (45) is Bulgarian and is the Chief Executive and principal
shareholder of Galchev Engineering Group Limited, a substantial Bulgarian
construction company.  He has a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering and
has been involved in the construction industry in Bulgaria for more than 20
years, forming his own company in 1991.


The Board regards Mr Galchev as a leading figure in the Bulgarian property
scene, who will be helpful to BPD in developing its Bulgarian property business.
