Court sanction of Schemes of Arrangement

Cattles plc ("Cattles") announces that the High Court of Justice of England and Wales (the "Court") has today adjourned the sanction hearing for:

1. the scheme of arrangement between Cattles and its shareholders to effect the recommended proposal for the acquisition of Cattles by Bovess Limited; and

2. the schemes of arrangement between each of Cattles, Welcome Financial Services Limited and Ewbanks Mail Order Limited and certain of their respective creditors.

The Court hearing will resume on Monday 28 February 2011. Any change to this date will be published on Cattles' website at www.cattles.co.uk.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

In accordance with Rule 19.11 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, a copy of this announcement will be published on Cattles' website at www.cattles.co.uk.
