    End of Offer Period
    On 17 July 2008 Meldex announced that the Chief Development Officer and Board member of the Company, Steve Martin, had made an approach
to the Board of Directors seeking permission to explore the possibility of making an offer for the Company.  The Company today confirms that
it is no longer engaged in any discussions that may or may not lead to an offer for the Company and that the Offer Period initiated on 17
July 2008 has now ended.  A trading update for the first half of 2008 will follow shortly.
