Mitsubishi Electric Announces Dividend Policy
for the First Half of Fiscal 2020
TOKYO, September 24, 2019 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
(TOKYO: 6503) announced today its dividend forecast for the first
half (ending September 30, 2019) of the current fiscal year ending
March 31, 2020 (fiscal 2020).
The company plans to pay an interim dividend of 14 yen per
share, as of the record date of September 30, 2019, with due
consideration on performance and financial standing in the first
half of fiscal 2020. The actual dividend will be declared at the
Board of Directors' meeting when financial results for the second
quarter of fiscal 2020 are to be approved.
The year-end dividend, as of the record date of March 31, 2020,
is currently undecided.

A decline in prices and shipments due to changes in the
supply/demand balance, as well as an increase in material prices

An increase in interest rates, the yen interest rate in
particular, would increase the Group's interest expenses.

Important patent filings, licensing, copyrights and
patent-related disputes may adversely affect related

environmental legislation or the occurrence of environmental
