Plantation & General Investments Plc

Plantation & General Investments Plc announces that, following the receipt of
satisfactory planning consent for residential development, it has completed the
sale of the site previously occupied by the Group's wheelbarrow manufacturer,
Chillington Manufacturing.

The net proceeds of the sale amounted to just under #1 million and were settled
in cash on completion.

The proceeds will be used to reduce Group bank borrowings.

The net book value of the site was #0.2 million.
