Category B3 gaming machines consultation announcement

Praesepe plc ("Praesepe" or "the Company" or "the Group", AIM:PRA) is delighted that the UK Department of Culture, Media and Sports ("DCMS") has announced the outcome of the Category B3 gaming machines consultation regarding the stake size and number of machines that can be operated from a single gaming venue.

The Government has announced that with effect from today there is an increase in the maximum stake for Category B3 gaming machines from GBP1 to GBP2 and an increase in the maximum number of B3 machines in venues to 20% of the total number of category B3, C and D machines within that venue. These machines are operated in the Group's Adult Gaming Centres (AGCs) and Bingo Clubs.

We are delighted that the Government is supporting the UK gaming sector and in particular UK gaming machine manufacturers.

As previously announced, Category B3 machines are an important part of Praesepe's commercial offering and any increase in stakes should have a positive impact on our business and the potential for revenue growth.
